College update

Hey, guys long time no talk! Well, I am almost done my first semester at my university! 3rd semester in college but 1st at an actual school away from home!

So much has happened, making a lot of new friends (167 to be exact) Struggling through classes and managing time, and finding time to have fun and relax!

Classes started off great, I loved all of my professors and then all of the sudden midterms and fall break hit and all of my grades went downhill. This is something that has never happened to me before considering at community college I had A's and B's because hey its community college what do you expect.

This semester has been an eye-opening experience like I said before community college all my work and notes were literally handed to me and I had to do nothing, even my tests answers were practically handed to me, guess I came in this semester thinking it was going to be the same.

Marching band has been a HUGE help for me adjusting from leaving home, everyone is so friendly and willing to help you no matter what you need help in. This past Sunday we performed at the Steelers pregame and halftime and MAN OH MAN was that exciting and the best day of my college marching band experience... well so far!

Sorry for not writing in so long I promise I will do better!

Final touches getting ready for move in!

Well 2 days until the big move in day, and my emotions are everywhere. I'm happy, excited, but nervous and sad all at the same time. I finally finished getting all of the things I need for my room only needing food and shampoo and conditioner.

The hardest part will be saying goodbye to my puppies and having to leave them, but I know they will come see me and I will see them soon enough.

Tonight, I have to finish packing as well as into tomorrow, and I finish my summer class tomorrow and can't be any more excited!

It's scary to think that I have 2 more nights in my bed and that is it for a while. :(

College Ready!

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog! This will be about my college experience to show other people what it is like and to also let me look back on the things I did and what I have experienced!

With that being said, I will be moving into my dorm room in 6 days! Yes, 6 days August 12, 2015. I'm super excited but super nervous as well! I will be participating in my college marching band and band camp starts the 12th which is why I move in so early!

I have all my things somewhat packed and starting to say my goodbyes to everyone, but the hardest thing will be saying goodbye to my dogs. And as I am writing this I am slowly realizing more things I need to buy before I head off to school!
